Description: This course covers the basic principles of design for contemporary, classic and geometric floral arranging. We will be identifying and working with fresh cut flowers and foliage.
Complete instructions will be given for rose arrangements, carnation arrangements, mixed spring and fall arrangements, centerpieces, church and hospital arrangements, floral designs for entertaining, including sit-down dinners and buffet arrangements and flemish style designs.
A session on the European style of floral design and identification of Holland flowers will also be instructed.
All supplies are furnished by the school and students may take their arrangements home at the end of each class. A certificate will be awarded to each student upon completion of this session. The floral arrangement session is a ten hour course.
You do not need to attend the Introduction to Flower Arranging Class to attend the Arrangement Session or any of our other classes.
