SAMPLE SCHEDULES

Every month we reserve two weeks for our Certificate Programs.  These programs are set up so you can take daytime courses, evening courses or Saturday courses and complete our entire program in a reasonable amount of time.

Daytime Program – Runs for Two Weeks

This program would repeat the following week as well.  The following month we will offer our other two classes during the day.  At the end of two months you will have taken all of our classes.

Evening Program – Runs for Two Weeks

This program would repeat the following week as well.

Then, the following month you could take 103 and 104 on Monday – Thursday Evenings.

We will offer two classes each month in our evening classes.  At the end of three months you will have taken all of our classes.

Saturday Program – Meets Two Saturdays        

Then this program would repeat the following week as well.

We will offer one class each month on Saturday.  At the end of six months you will have taken all of our classes.

Course Offerings

Certificate Courses     

Basic Floral Design at the Houston School of Floral Design was the beginning educational program for many of today’s top designers and floral shop owners.  Daily material is presented in a cycle consisting of Lecture, Demonstration, Practice and Critique.  A wide selection of fresh flowers and foliages are used throughout the program and each student works on their own projects with the guidance of an instructor.  Class size is limited to assure that each student receives the individual attention they need. Houston School of Floral Design graduates can be found in design, sales, management, executive and educational positions throughout Houston and across the country.

The Houston School of Floral Design is approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission, Division of Career Schools and Colleges.  You will receive a certificate upon the completion of each of the courses in this section.  Each course meets 4 sessions for 2.5 hours each, for a total of 10 hours.
