Shop Management & Sympathy Arrangements Class
 

Course: Shop Management & Sympathy
Duration: 2.5 Hours /
Cost: $296

 

Description: In order to enroll in the shop management and sympathy class, a student must first complete the arrangement and wedding sessions; however, a student may attend all three classes simultaneously.

The sympathy portion of this class will include standing and flat sprays, casket sprays and designer tributes. There will also be a discussion on meeting with the family of the deceased.

During the shop management portion, we will cover the processing and care of cut flowers and foliages, supplier sources, care of green and blooming plants, wire service membership and servicing of wire orders, window and sales area displaying, buying and pricing and markup formulas. Telephone salesmanship, advertising, new business promotion and the process of opening a new florist, including assumed name, sales tax and agriculture license information will also be included. A certificate will be awarded to each student upon completion of this session. The shop management and sympathy class is a ten hour course.

The tuition for the shop management & sympathy session is $296.
