Lidia Villamizar tiene el currículum perfecto para servir como nuestra instructora floral a los estudiantes de habla hispana. Ha sido maestra durante 14 años, 6 de los cuales los ha desempeñado aquí en Texas. Ella es Maestra Bilingüe Certificada, ha servido como instructor a nivel universitario. ¡Le encanta enseñar!

Lidia ha asistido a todas las clases en la Escuela de Diseño Floral de Houston y es gran fanática de la escuela. Ella ha servido como pasante de la escuela - dos veces! Además, Lidia es miembro de la Alianza de Floristas de Houston (Allied Florists of Houston) y de la Sociedad para el Avance del Diseño Floral (Society for the Advancement of Floral Design). Es Certificada en Planeación de Bodas y Eventos por el Instituto de Planeacion de Bodas (Wedding Planning Institute). Ha participado en La Copa Houston de Diseño Floral y La Competencia de Horticultura del Rodeo de Houston. Ocupando el top 5 en la Copa de Houston y el tercer lugar en el Rodeo.

Curso: Arreglos Florales 101
Duración: 10 horas (2,5 horas por sesión / 4 sesiones)
Costo: $324 

Descripción: Este curso cubre los principios básicos de diseño para arreglos florales contemporáneos, clásicos y geométricos. Identificar y trabajar con flores frescas y follaje.

Se dará instrucciones completas para arreglos con rosas, claveles, arreglos mixtos de primavera y otoño, centros de mesa para iglesia y hospital, diseños florales para el entretenimiento, incluyendo cenas formales y bufets y diseños al estilo flamenco. También se impartirá una sesión sobre el estilo de diseño floral Europeo e identificación de flores de Holanda.

Todos los materiales serán suministrados por la escuela y los estudiantes pueden tomar sus arreglos hechos al final de cada clase. Se otorgará a cada alumno un certificado al término de este período de sesiones. La sesión de Arreglos Florales es un curso de diez horas.

No es necesario haber tomado la clase de Introducción de Arreglo Floral para asistir a esta clase o cualquiera de las otras clases.

La matrícula para la clase de Arreglos Florales 101 es $324.

Lidia Villamizar has the perfect background to serve as our floral instructor for Spanish speaking students.  She has been an instructor for 14 years with 6 of those years here in Texas.  She is bilingual certified, has served as a college instructor and loves the classroom!

Lidia has attended all of the classes at the Houston School of Floral Design and is a huge fan of the school.  She has served as an intern at the school - twice!  In addition, Lidia is a member of Allied Florist of Houston and SAFD.  She competed in the Houston Cup floral design competition and the Rodeo Horticulture competition.  She placed in the top 5 in the Houston Cup and received 3rd place at the Rodeo.

In addition, Lidia is a floral shop owner so she can share her experiences running a business.  Her shop is 2 Cool Flowers and can be seen at her website www.2coolflowers.com.

Course: Arrangement Session 101
Duration: 10 Hours (2.5 Hours per Session / 4 Sessions)
Cost: $324 

Description: This course covers the basic principles of design for contemporary, classic and geometric floral arranging. We will be identifying and working with fresh cut flowers and foliage.

Complete instructions will be given for rose arrangements, carnation arrangements, mixed spring and fall arrangements, centerpieces, church and hospital arrangements, floral designs for entertaining, including sit-down dinners and buffet arrangements and flemish style designs. A session on the European style of floral design and identification of Holland flowers will also be instructed.

All supplies are furnished by the school and students may take their arrangements home at the end of each class. A certificate will be awarded to each student upon completion of this session. The floral arrangement session is a ten hour course.

You do not need to attend the Introduction to Flower Arranging Class to attend the Arrangement Session or any of our other classes.

The tuition for the floral arrangement session is $324.
